exhibitions and courses in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East and the publication of several scientific journals. The Head Office, located in the Netherlands, has over 60 employees. EAGE

At our head office in Houten, we have a vacancy open for a
VIDEO EDITOR / COORDINATOR (32-40 hours)
We are looking for a videographer who’s capable of producing E-Lectures and promotional videos. Besides the actual recording (read: operating the camera and studio equipment) you will also be in
editing after the content has been recorded. For E-Lectures this means that you will be working within a set format (Chroma Key to a virtual studio), but the promotional videos come with more
creative freedom. In some cases, the promotional videos can contain animation / motion graphics.
You know how to set up a script and a storyboard which sets up the visual storytelling. Informing and consulting with stakeholders in this process is very important and you can communicate your
thoughts and processes in an understandable fashion.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Recording E-Lectures on location;
Capture footage of our events and maintain an archive with that material;
Meeting production deadlines;
As a person you:
are fluent in English;
are a video enthusiast; video is not just a job you do but a passion as well;
love to think about what makes a video engaging to look at and share these thoughts with your team;
know all there is to know when it comes to video equipment and which material you need to use in any given situation;
can communicate with the people who are being recorded. You can make them feel at ease and bring out their best performance in front of the camera;
can set up a video project from A to Z, within the stylistic parameters set by the Art Director;
work with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere;
can come up with new and engaging ways to tell a story;
are eager to learn new techniques, methods and software;
You’ll be working in a team of creatives who are responsible for the global branding and the look and feel of the events we organize;
